Stefanie's Story from Kristin Ross Lauterbach
Stefanie's Story is a 22 min documentary about the first Asian child to die of AIDS in the United States. Diagnosed in the mid 80's when AIDS was still considered "the gay disease" Stefanie found hope in her poetry. She used poetry as a means to express her great joy and sadness while struggling with AIDS. Her poetry offers hope in the mist of great pain.
